Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
At the moment, we are unable to accept credit and debit card payments and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We do currently accept payment made by PayPal and by cheque. Please make cheques payable to Witzend Arts & Crafts and please put your bank card details on the reverse. Send your cheque to Miss Alison Green, Witzend Arts & Crafts, Witzend, 25 Cookesmere Lane, Sandbach, Cheshire, CW11 1BQ. Goods will be dispatched when the cheque has cleared. All returned cheques are subject to a returned cheque fee.
FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
These terms of sale apply to all goods ordered from and supplied by Witzend Arts & Crafts (WAC) - trading as an e-commerce site www.buycraftsonline.co.uk and by mail order via post and email contact. For the remainder of the document the company will be referred to as WAC.
No contract exists between you and WAC for the sale of goods until WAC has received and accepted your order and sends you confirmation in writing or by email to the postal or email address provided. Once WAC has issued this there is a binding legal contract between us.
WAC reserves the right to refuse to accept orders from any company or individual at its absolute discretion. The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see Returns Policy). WAC reserves the right to refuse large quantity orders. If the order is agreed by 'special arrangement', it will be on condition that they are supplied on a non-returnable basis.
WAC can change these terms of sale without reference to you in relation to future sales.
DESCRIPTIONS & PRICES
The description and price of the goods (subject to paragraph 4) you place as an order will be as shown on the WAC current website www.buycraftsonline.co.uk on the date that you place your order.
All graphics, descriptions, specifications and other related materials are published or issued for the sole purposes of giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them. They do not form part of this contract.
The goods are subject to availability from our stock/suppliers. If goods are not available within 7-10 days, we will inform you immediately of the delay. If goods are not available within 30 days, we will contact you with the option to hold for re-order and if requested, will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your card.
Every effort is made to ensure accurate prices are shown on the current WAC website www.buycraftsonline.co.uk at the time that you place your order. If an incorrect price is found WAC will inform you as soon as possible. We will then offer you the option of re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel the item WAC will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your card.
The price of the goods are inclusive of VAT at 15% unless stated otherwise.

Postage
Shipping charges on this website for orders delivered within the UK are First Class Postage. There is a separate charge for delivery to the rest of the world. Postage and packing is free for all orders over £60 - this is only available for orders delivered within the UK. |
Delivery Schedule
The goods you order will be delivered to the UK address you give when you place your order on the WAC website www.buycraftsonline.co.uk. If you live outside the UK, please email us for instructions on how you can order from us by post, or email or write to our postal address for full details.
If delivery cannot be made to your address WAC will inform you as soon as possible and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your card.
All reasonable efforts will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order had been accepted. Delivery times quoted by WAC (under Making a Purchase) are estimates and WAC will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery, as the majority of the goods offered originate overseas. However, we will keep you informed of the progress of your order.

Credit Card Security All card transactions on this website are made through PayPal, which is a secure website and no card details are retained by Witzend Arts & Crafts on this website.
Please DO NOT EMAIL YOUR CARD DETAILS TO US if you are ordering goods from us that are in the mail order catalogues but are not shown online. We can accept an order from you by email and will send you an invoice that can be paid via PayPal. Card details that forwarded to us by any of these methods are kept secure and shredded immediately after use.

Guarantee
If the products delivered to you from WAC are not as ordered or are damaged, defective or of incorrect quantity WAC's liability shall be limited to replacing the damaged or defective products or making good the shortfall in quantity or at WAC's own choice crediting the price and delivery charges of those products to your credit/debit card.
WAC shall not be liable to you for failure to deliver products ordered by you, unless you notify WAC within 28 days of the original date of your order. WAC's liability will be limited to delivering the goods ordered or at WAC's own choice crediting the cost and delivery charges of the non-delivered products to your credit/debit card.
WAC, its owners, partners, employees and other agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage including loss of profit or any other form of compensation. Nothing in these terms shall be construed to fulfilling your order or marketing our own company and goods to you. We do not disclose your details to other companies for marketing purposes or any other reason.
WAC will take all reasonable actions and precautions to keep details of your order and payment secure, but unless negligent WAC will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
You can correct any information we hold about you, or ask for any information held about you to be deleted by giving written notice to WAC at the contact details.
ENGLISH LAW
WAC are a British based company dealing with customers in the UK and therefore ENGLISH LAW applies to all orders, transactions and other activities related to this company and website.This does not affect your statutory rights.

Privacy Policy Witzend Arts & Crafts do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. We adhere to the regulations and guidelines laid down in the Data Protection Act.

Returns Policy
CANCELLATION
UK Law states you have the right to a 'cooling off' period after placing your order. You may cancel your order without reason and return it within 7 working days from the date received for a full refund excluding the postal and packing charges. We also reserve the right to charge a 25% handling fee for cancelled orders to cover costs.
To exercise your right of cancellation you must first give written notice to WAC to the contact addresses given giving details of the goods ordered, your contact details and where appropriate details of delivery. We will then contact you to agree to the return/cancellation of goods.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been despatched to you or delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to WAC at your own cost. The cost and safe return of the goods is your responsibility and to effect our refund policy you must return the goods in an un-used condition and in their original packing still in sealed packs/containers where applicable. You should also obtain a proof of posting at the Post Office and retain this for your records.
Once you have notified WAC that you are cancelling the contract and where applicable the goods have been returned, we will refund any sum that has been paid by you (excluding handling fees, postal and packing charges) or debited from your card.
If you do not return the goods, as required, WAC may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods and handling fees as stated and offset this against any refund due.
You do not have the right to cancel the order if the order is for goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly - WAC will notify you at the time of ordering if this is applicable to an item.
We want you to be pleased with your order, so please consider your choice of goods before placing an order, if you are not sure about a product email us for more information - we will be pleased to help you make the right choice - as CANCELLATIONS OUTSIDE THIS PERIOD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Remittance Terms
All methods of payment are shown on the WAC website and are processed by PayPal and Actinic Payments. All transactions must be in Pounds Sterling. Goods remain the property of WAC until paid for in full. Payment must be received before goods are despatched. |
